This form is used to notify the Monroe Township Police Department that you will be away on vacation. Please be advised that this service is not a guarantee that your home will be safe from any type of crime or natural disaster. An area officer will check your home if time permits on his/her tour of duty. Please submit the online form at least 2 week before your departure, if possible. Tips to keep your home safe while your away:
- Use variable automatic timers on a few lights.
- Avoid putting on social media your vacation plans, don’t post any pictures until you return.
- Hold your mail and newspaper delivery.
- Manually lock your garage doors.
- The key is to make it look like someone is home.
